Please note that as of this writing (8 July 2001) I have 940 messages to be answered in my in-box. As a result, it's highly unlikely that I'll be able to respond to your e-mail with the promptness that I'd like to. Answering my e-mail presently consumes nearly all of my free time, leaving me no opportunity either for leisure or to work on projects that I desperately need to finish. With that in mind, I have created this page in the hopes of diminishing the mail I receive.

I apologize in advance if this seems especially impersonal or rude. It is not my intent to make myself unavailable. I want everyone who visits my pages to feel free to contact me if they have any questions or comments. I have always made myself very available and approachable; perhaps too much so. As a result, I have so much e-mail, with more arriving daily, that I project I will never be able to answer it all.

Regarding specific questions about Lovecraft, feel free to e-mail me if you have exhausted all other avenues of research. Many great resources are available at your local library and may be within quick reach. Although I might be able to answer such questions more quickly than you can make a trip to the library, I cannot allow it to consume all of my time.

I do my best to answer every message I receive, but please respect the fact that I receive many more messages just like yours. Lastly, if you do not require a response to your message, please indicate this fact in your message. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
