Nut Bars

¾ cup butter

½ tsp salt

 

1½ cup flour

 

¾ cup powdered sugar

 

1 cup lightly salted peanuts

 

½ cup light corn syrup

 

2 tbsp butter

 

6 oz butterscotch chips

 

Mix first 4 ingredients like piecrust.

 

Bake in a 9x13 pan for 10 minutes at 350

(until edges are brown)

 

Sprinkle nuts over crust.

 

Heat until melted remaining 3 ingredients.

 

Pour over nuts on crust and bake 5 minutes longer.

 

Cut into small squares while warm.
