Ice Cream Torte
1 cup coarsely chopped creme-filled sandwich cookies (about 12 Oreos) 1/2 cup milk 1 package (3.9 oz) chocolate instant pudding mix 1 container (8 oz.) frozen whipped topping, thawed 12 frozen rectangle ice cream sandwiches (3.75oz each) 2 tablespoons semi-sweet chocolate morsels (optional)
Combine milk and pudding mix; whisk until mixture is smooth and begins to thicken. Immediately fold in whipped topping and cookies; set aside. Arrange six of the ice cream sandwiches side by side in a 7X11 pan. Spread enough pudding mixture to cover top. Top with remaining ice cream sandwiches, forming a rectangle-shaped torte. Spread remaining pudding mixture over top and sides of torte. Sprinkle with optional chocolate morsels. Freeze 30 minutes or until ready to serve. If freezing torte overnight, remove from freezer 30-45 minutes before serving for easier slicing.
