Pdte Hansen’s informational blurb
comes from his Berkeley California Institute Director’s Biography page….
Bro. Hansen is
married to JoElla who used to live in Ethiopia. They have four children,
all of whom are boys except three. They are very blessed to have ten
grandchildren (so far). His mission was the West Spanish American. Looking on a
globe to find Spanish America will not help.
It is not there. Bro. Hansen had a career in Utah
law enforcement in Pleasant Grove and Orem,
retiring in 1996 as the Cedar City Chief of Police after 24 years to accept a
position teaching seminary in the Pineview (Washington, UT)
Seminary. He also taught at the Cedar City Seminary before being tranferred to
the Pleasant Hill Institute of Religion in July, 2002. He has served as young
men's president five times, stake high councilor twice, bishop twice, counselor
to a stake president, and currently has the blessing of serving as bishop of
the Antioch 5th (YSA) Ward where Sis Hansen serves as stake YSA advisor.
Favorite movies include "Remember the Titans," "Sandlot,"
"Invincible," "Glory Road," "Napolean Dynamite,"
"The Best Two Years," and almost anything in black and white. College
football is his favorite sport and BYU is his favorite team. Please note that
someday he will have more hair than the photo shows.
