What are...

                        Your Investment Options?

Investing today can be very confusing, therefore, I won't attempt to cover ALL the options here,

but I thought it might be helpful to briefly highlight SOME of the investment options, often used by

many of MY clients, and WHY. NOTE: If you do not fully understand the listed investments,

simply click on the link to read a more complete explanation...or use my Got a Question?

NOTE: the newly proposed Bush's RSA Retirement Savings Accounts and LSA Lifetime

Savings accounts may change a lot of investing and Estate Planning strategies. E-mail

me for updated details on these NEW RSA and LSA retirement plans.

As a Financial Advisor, some of my duties are to help my clients determine what their: needs, goals,

objectives, risk tolerance levels and investment management abilities are. As well as define their

investment options. In an attempt to fulfill all the above, we might use one or more, or a combination

of the following types of investments: for your 401k, 403(b), TSA, 457 plans, Traditional, SEP,

SIMPLE and ROTH IRA

Money Market accounts: are often used to hold "emergency money", for quick liquid cash withdrawals,

or simply to keep enough money to make a person feel more comfortable about their overall investing

plan. I normally recommend that ALL my clients have at least one of these accounts. For Money Market

accounts GO HERE to open you a quality on-line Money Market account. They’ll ask who referred you.

Please tell them, J. Michael Hall #569540  referred you. I receive some compensation for referring you.

Money market accounts are also available inside most IRA's, and are often used frequently inside

variable annuities as a temporary holding account when not fully invested in equity investments.

Mutual Funds: most of my clients are invested in mutual funds but ONLY inside IRA’s. I do NOT

normally recommend mutual funds unless they are in a tax deferred account of some sort. Naturally I

offer a wide variety of mutual funds, from many different mutual fund companies. They can range from

the EXTREMELY risky to the least risky, depending on your wants, needs and desires. I can setup

mutual fund accounts for investors either directly with the individual companies. For consolidated

accounts I offer Pershing brokerage account services as an option as well.

Unit Investment Trusts (UIT's): Unit Investment Trusts are a way to own a few select stocks with

improved diversification. They can be used within IRA plans or outside of tax deferred plans, as

well. Investors can choose from a wide variety of individual sectors for investing: the NASDAQ, the

DOW, Technology, Health, Medical, Retail, Pharmaceutical, Leisure, Travel, and more. The length

of most UIT's are 6 years to full maturity yet offering some liquidity as well. Therefore, unless renewed,

they are not normally considered long term retirement investments. I offer a variety of UIT's from

companies like First Trust Portfolios  All UIT's and individual stocks investments are offered through

my Pershing Brokerage account services. Some people may want to use UIT's for part of their 401k

or IRA rollover. As a rule, they are not the most liquid nor the best investment for retirement

withdrawals, such as a 72t plan.

Fixed Annuities: offer Guaranteed* Safety of principal. An investment that offers Tax-deferred

accumulation and growth. No up-front sales charges. 100% of your money goes to work earning

interest, immediately, without risk to the principal. An ideal investment for MANY! Fixed annuities

offer the only Guaranteed* investment that you can decide when you want to pay taxes on your

earnings. An ideal place to move non-qualified mutual funds and possibly other types of savings

accounts, to eliminate current income taxation on your gains. Fixed annuities can be used for any

kind of money, IRA’s, 401k rollover and much more. All the fixed annuities I offer have at least

a minimum Guaranteed* growth of at least 3% a year and the added protection of your principal

being Guaranteed* as well.

Fixed annuities are contracts that can range anywhere from 1 year up to 16 years, depending upon

your needs and wants. Most have minimums starting at $1,500 for the initial deposit. Fixed annuities

CAN be used for "early withdrawals" from IRA's using the 72t distribution method. Fixed annuities

can also be "annuitized" to provide an income, one or two people can NOT outlive! Fixed annuities

also offer a Guaranteed* Death Benefit for your heirs with the money going directly to your named

beneficiary(s), totally avoiding Probate.

Currently, I offer fixed annuities from 13 of the Highly Rated companies. For an easy & complete

understanding of Fixed Annuities (everyone should read this) GO HERE. For Fixed Annuities used

for IRA’s GO HERE  For information on using Fixed or Indexed Annuities for Required Minimum

Distributions (RMD) for those age 70 ½ and older GO HERE

Indexed Annuities: Everything stated above for fixed annuities also applies to Indexed Annuities as

well, EXCEPT your growth or gains can be tied to one or more INDEXES, such as the: DOW, S&P

500, the NASDAQ or a Bond portfolio, to potentially help improve the gains and growth. They are

an extremely popular choice for a 401k or IRA rollover, recommended today by many advisors. For

information on Indexed annuities simply contact me for more specifics. There are a LOT of options.

Variable Annuities: Certainly one of the most versatile and also one of the most misunderstood of

all the investment options. Variable annuities can be used in any or all of the following:

* non-qualified (any money, of any kind, from anywhere, for ANY AMOUNT or possibly inheritances)

* Traditional IRA's (rollover) and Inherited IRA's

* ROTH IRA's (new or conversions from a Traditional to a Roth)

* SEP and SIMPLE IRA's for the self-employed (new or rollover)

* 401-k rollover

* 403(b) TSA's (Tax Sheltered Annuity) 9024 transfers

* 457 plan rollover (city, state and some government retirement plans)

* for using a 72t for early retirement (or any income stream withdrawal) prior to age 59 ½ and eliminating

   the IRS 10% penalty.

NOTE: annuities are NOT used for their tax-deferred growth when combined with an IRA. There are

many other reasons (as described herein) for using an annuity, since an IRA already offers tax-deferred

growth without the use of an annuity. Investment return and principal value will fluctuate, and shares,

when redeemed, may be worth more or less than their original cost. Past performance is no guarantee

of future results.  Dollar Cost Averaging does not assure a profit nor does it protect against loss in

declining markets. The above reference is NOT an offer to sell a product. However, if you’d like further

information on anything mentioned here, please contact me for specifics and all the details, including a

Prospectus will be provided to you.

As an independent Financial Advisor I currently offer variable annuities from as many as 20 different

Top Rated companies. I am not limited to specific companies, nor am I required to use any specific plan.

We use whatever plan best suites your needs. For a more detailed explanation on these quality variable

annuities, GO HERE.

Whole Life and Universal Whole Life: These types of life insurance aren't considered investments

by most people due to there low and slow rate of growth. But for some it may be the perfect plan.

Currently I offer these types of life policies from approximately 10 different Top rated companies.

Variable Universal Life Insurance: For many people, this is the most popular type of life insurance

used today. The major difference there is a greater opportunity for growth in a Variable Universal Life

type of policy due to it's variety of sub-account investment choices. This type of life insurance is also

available as a 2nd-to-die, Last-to-die, or often called a Joint & Survivorship policy. For a better

understanding of this type of policy GO HERE. Currently, I offer a variety of plans from as many as

18 different Top rated companies.

NOTE: Investment return and principal value will fluctuate, and shares, when redeemed, may be worth

more or less than their original cost. Past performance is no guarantee of future results.  Dollar Cost

Averaging does not assure a profit nor does it protect against loss in declining markets. The above

reference is NOT an offer to sell a product.
