The Gifts

There is a legend of Magic Gifts and how they came into being.

The Sun God or Lord of Light fell in love with The Moon Goddess or The Lady of Darkness. He longed for her soft, gentle beauty and wishes to learn the Magic and Mystery of the night. He asked the nature spirits and nymphs to speak to The Moon Goddess and set up a meeting. At Twilight they met and fell in love with each other. The Universe rejoiced and the first Sunset filled the sky to celebrate their love. As their love grew, they decided to have a child. From this mating between the Lady of the Dark and the Lord of the Light came a beautiful child with an Aura the colors of the Sunset. Her name is Aradia and she is destined to teach the magical art of Witchcraft to the children of Earth.

Upon those who accept her teachings and believe in her magic, those with hearts pure and filled with love, she bestows certain symbolic Gifts.
They are:

To heal.
To change things.
To know success in love.
To find hidden treasures.
To hear and speak to animals.
To understand and tame wild beasts.
To divine with cards and the stars.
To know the secrets of the hand.

To communicate in the Universal language that is understood by All.

Aradia is a Magical Goddess filled with the beauty and mystery of a beautiful Sunset. Her teachings are for all to discover and her magic fills the Universe.

Love Everyone and Everything in your life for what they are and for the special gifts they have. Develop your magic and use it in positive ways. Walk your path in beauty and light and don't be afraid to walk alone. Give your friends encouragement to walk their paths. Everyone needs to walk their own path. And once they venture out, don't expect them to always think like you or do what you want to do. Encourage them, Praise them, Help them gain their freedom. After all, if everyone were the same, doing the same majik, and staying where they were put, life in this world would become quite boring and unhappy.
