Welcome to Maui on the 4th of July. The island abounds with fireworks displays. At Kaanapali people gather all along the beach as the people are treated to a great display of fireworks. Down at Wailea you can also observe a fireworks display. Another great option is to sit with others at the pool at Hona Kai. It is quite enjoyable to sit and look out across the ocean to Wailea and see the fireworks. During the day this particular year the beach was not very crowded at this time. The beach in this picture is the public beach.
