Here is an assortment of messages people have sent to me concerning their stay at my condo or at Maalaea Bay, Maui Hawaii. I certainly hope that you enjoy all these wonderful comments from visitors to my condo and if you feel the urge to write me please do. It is my hope to help people enjoy the beauty and charm of the Islands as I have.

Dear Ron,
I appreciate the feedback regarding your great condo. We also enjoyed every minute of Maui, especially all of the wonderful restaurants,(particularly Buzz's Wharf). We really lucked out with your place since the location is the best on the island in our opinion, and the price was very reasonable. It was so convenient to everything, and we could reach most of the island in 15-20 minutes. We thoroughly enjoyed both your condo and Maui, and if/when we go back we will definitely contact you again. Thanks again, Walt and Jan

Ron,
Just a quick note to let you know how much we enjoyed our 25th anniversary stay at your condo. We have stayed in Kaanapali and in Kahana before, but, Maalaea Bay is our favorite. The miles of sandy beaches with no high rise condos made is especially attractive. We walked the beach every morning for over and hour and only saw a dozen or so other walkers. (At Kaanapali, we would see a few dozen before we left the hotel!)
Your condo was perfect for us. Thanks again and we hope to return some day.

Ron,
Just wanted to say thanks again for your help. Your condo was terrific and just as you described. Right on the beach, away from all the congestion but yet only a 10 minute drive away from Lahina. My wife and I had a great time. Thanks for the picture. It's exactly what I saw every morning. Think I'll print it out and hang it over my terminal as a reminder of what life should really be about. I can see why you like it so much on Maui, words and pictures do not do it justice, you have to experience it first hand. I'm already trying to figure out how I can get back there.

Hi Ron, its Kevin. You sent me some e-mail info on your condo in Maui back in March.I took your advice and called the rental office-your unit was not available during our week, however unit a-3 was,a one bedroom, which was fine because there was only 2 of us. This place is a great bargain!. I,m already making plans to return, September is a good month for bargain rates according to Jeannie. Thanks for the tip.

Dear Ron, I just wanted to drop you a line and tell you how fantastic your condo on Maui was. I spent 2 weeks on Waikiki (at a workshop for teachers) before traveling to Maui with 17 family members for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. The Hono Kai was everything we could have asked for and more! After spending 2 weeks on Oahu, I was ready for a slower pace. Your condo was just what we needed. The only problem encountered was the surf. The locals said it was the highest of the season. I Had a difficult time keeping my kids off of the boogie boards. The waves measured up to 10 feet and my teen-age boys have no fear. Most of the time though, the waves were just right. Thanks again for sharing this piece of paradise with our family. We plan to return. Maybe next time without the kids!!! Kathy
MESSAGE FROM FUTURE RENTER
Ron,
I guess what convinced me to book your place was a combination of features that I considered very desirable:
1) it's right on a beach that's good for swimming and snorkeling;
2) the pictures you sent suggest that it's really a beautiful spot;
3) the location is less busy but not too far from restaurants, other activities.
4) the price is reasonable;
5) the comments from people who've been there and Frommer's guide were positive;
5) you've been very helpful in answering my questions.
Seems like a winning combination to me.
Don
Gord & Cindy,
Cindy says to tell you that everything you said about the place is true and she says it's
great. The place is very nice...and I know rental places.
The place still rates great with us. All the best,
Keep happy,
Gord

Great condo, private yet accessible to some great shopping & restaurants. Beautiful views, and we had all kinds of weather from pouring thunderstorms to cloudless warm days. We're ready to move! Thank you for posting the rental on the Prodigy so we were able to come to experience Maui.

We are looking strongly at staying at Ron Coronado's condo in the Hono
Kai Resort and would like any comments about the area in general and/or this
complex. It sounds great to us but want to get opinions from any who know of
this area.
Hi Jim and Gloria:
We almost stayed at Ron's place but ended up next door at the Makani A Kai.
The Maalaea area IS centrally located and would be good if you want to DO
THE ISLAND. The beach is so-so, but you can walk for miles and be lucky to
see a dozen people. The area was perfect for us and we would go back in a
heartbeat. If you have any specific questions, send me an E-mail.

Dear J & Glo,
I believe I am very qualified to answer you question about the Maalaea Bay area and Ron
Coronado's condo in particular.
Four years ago, my wife and I made our first trip to Maui. We stayed at the Island Sands
condos about 4 building from the Hono Kai. The condo was prettty nice, but we were
disappointed to discover there was no beach at this condo. So.......we had to trudge
down to the beach by the Hono Kai. They have a really nice beach there.
Anyway, on the last day of our trip, we went over to the Hono Kai rental office and went on
a tour. We were very impressed. We decided then, that if and when we went back to
Maui, that is where we'd stay.
To show you our resolve, just today, we finalized our renting Ron's condo for 6 days in
April.
Maalaea Bay is quiet out-of-the-way area that you might have a hard time finding if you
weren't looking for it. You couldn't ask for a more centrally located area to stay. If my
memory serves me correctly, driving times are about:
10 min to airport
20 min to Makena/Wailua
15 min to Lahaina
20 min to Kaanapali
There is shopping of all types (groceries, drugstores, etc) in Kihei only 5 minutes away.
We are sold on this area and are really looking forward to staying at Ron's condo.
Any other particulars......fire away!
Ken

Aloha Jeannie,
It's really true, what Ron Coronado told me: There are some fantastic ladies of the management! Some days before I called to
Marsha and she could inform me in a very impressive way.
And just one hour before I called Jeannie. She had been in Switzerland four years ago and spoke German"wuderbar". She
accepted my reservation, so I'll confirm it once more:
